The Plimsoll
The Plimsoll in Finsbury Park is an unassuming local pub with a queue around the corner. Wanting to keep the local pub alive, and knowing they couldn't afford to do it on their own, Jamie Allan and Ed McIlroy, who previously ran Four Legs at the Compton Arms turned to their community to fund the project rather than relying on traditional investment. Not only one of the hottest tables in town, it is one that is truly built on community commerce with the money that they earn together as a community going back to the people.
