The Velvet Bar is a small and intimate award wining bar that is a pioneer with its super sustainable drinks menu that uses local ingredients to craft their weekly changing menus. Based in Neukölln the team forage plants from in and around Berlin. The bar is closed every Tuesday for the team to use the laboratory installed at the back of the bar where they infuse, ferment and create drinks like cherry blossom liqueur and saffron tincture. Well worth a visit, the drinks will challenge your tastebuds and deliver one of the best cocktails in Berlin, safe in the knowledge that they are better for people and the planet!
