Ave Mario
Designed with Joy in its DNA Ave Mario is a neon-lit destination of fun in Covent Garden. “Fun? It’s 100% that. It’s almost a mission statement in this company: we’re not trying to be fun, we’re trying to have fun,” says Victor Lugger the restaurant founder. The third Big Mama group destination in London isn't a destination for the food, (it's good but that's not why you go!) rather, it is for the joyfully chaotic interior, bespoke crockery in vegetable designs and the tongue-in-cheek menu with titles such as Queen’s Gambas, a take on a prawn cocktail and of course for the atmosphere of people who are there for a good time!
