Lobe Block

Berlin is a city of collaboration and community is really important to Berliners. Lobe Block is a new place in the neighbourhood that has a community commerce mindset at its core. Designed by Brandlhuber + Emde, Burlon & Muck Petzet Architekten on a former scrap yard by the railway it is regenerating the Berlin district of Gesundbrunnen. Designed to maximise its use with open and flexible architecture and to offer residents as much open and green space as possible the building is a set of terraces that interlock with the gardens, which can be used by residents and neighbours alike. Housing a restaurant, a yoga studio, creative work spaces as well as events and exhibitions the large mixed use building is a destination of collaborative living and being.
