To kick off this year's festival, we are bringing people together for an afternoon of inspiration and challenge, around our theme IF:AND:OR:ELSE, giving us the opportunity to reflect on our past, present and future.
How have our choices affected our ideas, businesses and opportunities? Is there ever a right or wrong choice and should we be taking more risks?

Philippa will be helping us understand the ever-evolving guest expectations which will help decipher some of the changes the industry is already experiencing. Are we in an ADR bubble or is this the reality of our new normal for hospitality? What does it mean when travellers move from shallow to deep experiences? And as the blurring between work, retail, wellness, hotels, co-living and extended stay continues, how should hospitality rethink how it defines itself?

4:30pm Stephen McCall, CEO, Edyn in conversation with Philippa Wagner

Stephen will explore the influence of decision making on an organisation and how past decisions have affected their approach today. He’ll share his experience of how Edyn foster a culture of questioning, curiosity, openness and risk.
